When anyone asks Audrey why she moved to Alaska, she tells them for a fresh start. But a lot of the people in Alaska are hiding from something. And Audrey is no different. Maybe we feel the uncanny valley because long ago, we had to fear something that pretended to be human.

Luna Madison discovered the magic of voices at an early age, performing dramatic readings to their stuffed animals and delighting in reading aloud in class. Growing up as a fan of audiobooks, storytelling, and animation, Luna recognized the power of a well-crafted voice to evoke emotion and create lasting impressions. They are active in the local Dayton performance scene, performing on Cold Storage with Corvus Audio, pairing up with other local writers, and are delighted to star in their fourth role with Dayton Writer’s Movement.

EMILY KALLENBERG

Izzy

Emily (She/her) is so excited for the opportunity to continue bringing characters to life through DWM’s productions. Emily has been directing, acting, and creating theatre in the Dayton Community for the last 15 years. Emily has thoroughly enjoyed exploring the audio drama world for the past 7 years with Dayton Writers Movement playing roles such as Leda and Mary Shelley (Unwritten), Tilly (Unwritten: Season 2), Daisy (Think Fast), and Sam (The Hidden People). Outside of Acting, Emily loves spending time with her family, playing board games with friends, and reading a good book. Emily would like to thank the DWM production team for continuing to let her explore diverse characters and her husband for encouraging her to never give up.

JORDAN LOPEZ

Dahlia

Jordan has been part of the Dayton Writers Movement team since its inception as voice actor, singer, writing consultant, producer, director, and she is excited to bring a new character to life in Uncanny Valley. She has previously used her voice talents as Mackenna Thorne in The Hidden People podcast, Chelsea in Unwritten, and Sammi in Catharsis. When she's not voicing characters, Jordan stars in her local theater productions in previous roles as Maureen Johnson from RENT, Holly in The Wedding Singer Musical, and Veronica Sawyer in Heathers The Musical. Uncanny Valley will be Jordan's most eerie production yet, and she hopes that you are ready to lose sleep over the adventures of Uncanny Valley!

Cody

Ben (he/him) is a code monkey by day but spends his nights as a performer. Originally from Cleveland, he loves taking the stage in any capacity, whether it is in the theatre, singing, or comedy. Ben would like to thank Chris, Megan, and the entire writing and production team for welcoming him and introducing him to the audio drama medium. He would also like to thank his wife Emma, not just for putting up with him, but for joining this production with him and getting to act together!
